Discriminación, estereotipo y prejuicio:  De la Pobreza estructural a la violencia expresiva. La pobreza significa que se niegan las oportunidades más fundamentales a las personas en el desarrollo humano: vivir una vida larga, sana y disfrutar de dignidad y decencia de la vida en todas sus manifestacionmes, libertad, resopeto,..y un largo eccetera que solo disfrutan los ricos??!! Pobreza es sinónimo de VIOLENCIA Estructural. Los mecanismos que perpetuan la pobreza de oportunidade s son: a) Discriminación b) Estereotipo c) Prejuicio La discriminación es conceder un trato desigual. Supone reconocer a una persona como diferente y actuar en función de esa diferencia y no de las característicasd individuales de esa persona. Estereotipo son creencias compartidas por aspecto, comportamiento, costumbres,etc Su objetivo es simplifiocar la realidad, cualquier persona se identifica con el estereotipo del grupo al que pertenece Prejuicio son creencias racionales teñidas de sent

MULTICULTURAL SOCIETIES AND INTERCULTURAL ONES. As we can see before, there are two different concepts: 1)Multicultural: It is referred to the same place there is COEXISTENCE of different cultures. 2)Intercultural: various or different cultures but with EXCHANGE and INTERACTION. Both of them are building on the relations established between people of different cultures. Every culture is a cultural identity , but two cultures can share an identity similar or not. Maybe sometimes we could speak about the subculture and dominant culture. From Multicultural to intercultural approaches. The replacement of both concepts is because of its development, the second one reciprocity, and values education like respect or communication. In fact, Intercultural education is associated with: a)education for sustainable development b)education for peace c)HUMAN RIGHT education From my point of view, Intercultural education is a process of Social education with 2 perspectives underline;

Interculturality and Difference . Pluriculturalidad, multiculturalidad e interculturalidad. I prefer to speak of Education for Interculturality rather than Intercultural Education. We need to add a new dimension to our present and future; Interculturality and CULTURAL DIVERSITY and the multiple of immigrant communities. On the contrary, social rejection is an answer to diversity more and more common nowadays. In my opinion, this is because not everybody can be used as an opportunity for enrichment. On the contrary diversity and difference often results in racism and xenophobia. La pluriculturalidad es un concepto que tipifica la particularidad de una región en su diversidad sociocultural. En esta definición no se hace referencia al tipo de relaciones entre los diferentes grupos culturales.
