My written responses about Emotional intelligence are represented into two different parts; I, II and III , in allusion to some questions and three critical readings representatives of the first chapter: MODELS OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE.

 

PART I: some questions.

-          Some definitions around Intelligence By Whechter and by Salovey:?

-          The basic definitions of EQ are set forth as the ability to identify, use, understand and manage emotions, both personally and social ship definitions:    The firs author define EI more like a global issue, while Salovey expressed emotion like an use and facilitating regulation of thinking, analyze, expression and reflective thinking

-          Relationship between Education Gadner and Multiple Intelligences?

-          A part of Gadner´s view of Social intelligence is including knowlwdgw abour self anf other people and divided into 8 educational intelligences, inta- inter intelligences as well…and some others like: mathematic, linguistic, musical,..and so on.

-           

-          Under what components of EI are Empathy and Motivational?

-          Empathy is as a social support of EI with people that are critical constructors of well-being. Empathy is also a motivator for altruistic behavior and is a regulation of behavoirn and emotions. The same that empaty is expressing that.

-           

-          What kind of people seem to show more creative responses?

-          People more creative are those who utilizing Emotional intelligence and strategies involved in problem solving in a  common  community by action

-           

-          What is different regular emotions and Salovey…?  Salovey expressed emotion like an use and facilitating regulation of thinking, analyze, expression and reflective thinking

            QUESTION 1: TRAIT EI / Ability EI

Why they are different between these two concepts if they are refers to the same concept about emotional issue?

In terms of measurement most success has been archived into Trait EI rather Ability EI, but are really both constructs recognizing differences?

On the one side, Trait EI is referred to emotional self-efficacy, on another side, ability is referred to a cognitive ability. Obviously they are different measurements!, the firs one by self-report by questionnaires and the second one by test performances.

As a sum It should be emphasized some sentences concerning to models and measurements:

We are concurrently measurement of ability EI in models like: MEIS or MSCEIT whit a low correlation. On the contrary, we can be a measurement of Trait with a big correlation in SEIS, TMMS and EQi
