This PEC is composed by two mandatory tasks: 1) & 2).

 

1)       Make a concept map of the Salovey & Mayer’s (1990) paper on Emotional Intelligence. You must locate “Emotional Intelligence” at the center of the map.

2)       Elaborate a table with the next four columns of information about five EI instruments: name of the instrument, type of construct assessed (Ability EI vs. Trait EI), complete APA reference of a study as an example where that specific EI instrument has been recently used (published along the last 2 years), and type of sample used in that study (children, adolescents, adults, teachers, managers, etc.).
